Infinitely More

Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. - Ephesians 3:20

One of my absolute favorite songs is Oceans by Hillsong United. There have been several times in my life where I’ve been clueless about what God is calling me to do and where He wants me to go, but this song always brings me a sense of perfect peace. Some of the lyrics are:

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders

Let me walk upon the waters

Wherever You would call me

Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander

And my faith will be made stronger

In the presence of my Savior

I am always reminded that

Our work on earth is for God’s Kingdom and there is a tremendous amount of possibility in our lives. Maybe you need to trust God with selecting the right major in school, pursuing a friendship, leading a Bible study, or traveling to another country on a mission trip. Listen to His call, seek His guidance, and never stop pursuing His love and sharing it with others.

1. Is there something in your life right now where you need direction and guidance from the Lord? What can you do to seek that guidance?

2. How can you better listen for and seek God's will for your life?

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You so much for Your presence in our lives and the beautiful love that You shower us with each and every day. I pray, Lord, that we are given eyes to seek Your will and ears to hear Your guidance in our lives. I pray that, when we are unsure of what to do or where to go, we continually turn to You and never forget that You already have spoken a perfect plan into place for our lives. We love You, Lord, and we thank You for all that You do. Amen.
