How To Boldly Invite
Happy Good Friday!
The day where believers around the world stop and recognize what happened on that first “good friday” thousands of years ago on a hill called Calvary.
And since that day, people all around the world have been introduced to this story of a perfect man who lived a perfect life to die the death we deserved, ultimately offering us eternal life through a relationship with Him.
In just 2 days, we celebrate the reason why this relationship is possible. We celebrate that Jesus not only died in our place, but rose - defeating death - and is seated at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven.
And while every year churches across the globe celebrate this truth, this Easter Sunday looks a bit different. However, how beautiful is the fact that we have a Savior that is no longer in the grave, but risen and seated on the throne! I don’t know about you, but especially right now, that truth speaks so much comfort to my heart! “He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen.” (Matthew 28:6a) Jesus Christ sits on the throne. “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” (Colossians 1:17 NIV)
This Sunday, we want to celebrate with you! While church may look a bit different in this season, worshipping our Savior doesn’t have to!
If you’re not a regular attender of a local church near you, this is the perfect Sunday to check out one in your area! We encourage you to check out an online service of a church near you and to begin to make it a habit of watching with friends and family! Not sure where to look? Just message us in the chat button at the bottom of this page and we can help you find a service!
If you have a local church to call home and celebrate with this Easter Sunday, we at Lane of Roses want to challenge you to invite a friend to join you! This may look different right now, but a simple text or call with an invitation or link could be just the invitation that is needed! Let’s invite those in our lives to join us in tuning in to church services across the globe. What better Sunday to invite someone into your church family than the Sunday we recognize that our Savior did not stay in the grave, but lives and offers a relationship to each of us!
