Ten 10 - Minute Activities to Help Us Take a Breather
Written by: Kailee Potgeter

Take a few minutes to enjoy your favorite form of exercise. Whether it is dancing, running, or playing your favorite sport. Get up and move your body and appreciate all it does for you.
Write a letter to a friend. Remind them why you are grateful for them.
Take a walk outside. Leave your phone at home and take note of all of the beautiful creations God has blessed you with.
Breathing exercises. Close your eyes, focus on your breathing and be present.
Make a list of at least five things you are grateful for. Take some time to thank God for these blessings.
Listen to one of your favorite songs. Maybe it’s one you forgot about and haven’t listened to in forever, maybe it’s one you’ve had on repeat. Sit and listen, scream-sing the words, or dance around your kitchen.
Go for a quick drive. Roll your windows down and enjoy the beauty of the open road.
Reminisce on a happy moment. How did you feel? Maybe it looks like a conversation with a friend or a collection of old photos.
Dive into Scripture. Ask God what He wants to reveal to you in this time and begin reading a new chapter, book, or even verse.
Talk to God. He wants to take all of your worries and fears off of your shoulders. Speak with Him honestly and open your heart to His love.
