You may have noticed that your friend is acting differently than usual. This can be in the things they do or the things they say. And a piece of you may feel like something is wrong. This can be scary. You may worry about saying the wrong thing or that your help may worsen things.
All of the research says that this is simply not true. If your friend is experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviors, your increased attention will be more helpful than you could ever know.
